The Hot Days of Spring

The hot days of Spring in the hood
To most people the first warm day of the year is a day of happiness.  It is the same for the peopleb of the hood except for that tinge of fear  and apprehension because in the hood we all know the the first hot day in The neighborhood means someone is going to lose thier lives.  Sometimes its more than one like those killed last year in Wilkinsburg PA where five people and one unborn child lost their lives at a backyard cook out.

You do not have to be involved with criminal activity and neither does your family because often these homicide have nothing to do with gang but someone disrespected someone else he now deserved to die because of that.
Last week a 14 year old boy lost his life in what the police think is an accident but the family is not so sure.

This kind of nonsense is horrible for our community and we get tired of burying our young and our people of all ages.
Parr of the reason is that we believe we are here because we been set up to kill and die . Even if this is true then why do we help these people ?  What are we going to do about this?
One day the hood is going to stand up and insist that our death are treated just like everyone else's and  our homicides be solved quickly and accurately.
We want justice for our loved ones and we want it quick
